Job Description
Summary: This position is responsible for processing a variety of accounting transactions such as payments, and expenses for Orizon in accordance with the department procedures. Maintains accounting files, checks and verifies data in various databases.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and balance accounts receivable and/or payables on a daily basis
- Preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records.
- Generates summary sheets to be used by supervisor and/or auditors
- Proofs accounting reports for clerical accuracy
- Provide accounting and clerical assistance
- Allocates expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures
- Ensures compliance with company policies and the law.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
