Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their accounting career while working in a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain payroll records.
- Prepare invoices, apply customer payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and perform data entry.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
- Provide backup support for the Controller and Shipping department.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or office experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
