Accounting Clerk

Are you a detail-oriented and computer-savvy individual with a passion for accounting? We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! This role involves handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:- Process purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable using a computerized system- Maintain vendor and customer records- Prepare financial and statistical reports using MS Excel- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payments for vendors and customers- Maintain and update asset records and assist with year-end tax forms- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and assist with cash deposits- Perform additional administrative duties to support the efficiency of the department

What We're Looking For:- A self-starter who can follow detailed instructions and work independently- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Familiarity with accounting practices and processes, including MS Dynamics and MS Excel- A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required; additional education in accounting and 1-3 years of accounting clerical experience preferred

Requirements:- Must have a valid Virginia driver's license- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
