Position Description

The AP/AR Clerk is responsible for providing internal and external customers with high quality, professional payable and receivable services.  The AP/AR Clerk will assist our facilities, vendors and customers on all issues, key invoices, apply cash received using a variety of systems and offering solutions or teaching opportunities in a positive manner.

Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Billing and invoicing clients – weekly and monthly
  • Coding invoices in Ivalua
  • Coding expenses for the PNC Card
  • Assisting corporate accountants
  • Pulling data and updating excel spreadsheets daily
  • Entering data into TOPEX
  • Assisting maintenance manager with Asset Essentials
  • Update company assets in Asset Essentials daily as needed…in service, out of service, adding assets, removing assets, tracking costs, etc.

  • Computer skills including Excel knowledge
  • P&L understanding
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to learn and understand new development processes

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, additional education a plus
  • 2-5 years accounting experience desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be highly motivated and detail oriented
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
