Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our finance team. This role is responsible for managing and reconciling up to 15 bank accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and experience in multi-account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and maintain up to 15 bank accounts on a regular basis (daily, weekly, and monthly as required)
- Monitor account activity and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Record financial data accurately in accounting systems
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
- Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports
- Communicate with banks and internal departments to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
