Job Title: Accounting Clerk (AR/AP)
Details:

- Duration: Permanent Direct Hire
- Salary: $23-27hr.
Position Summary and Special Duties
The Accounting Clerk will support the company’s accounting department with daily clerical and transactional tasks related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and general office administration. This role ensures accuracy in financial recordkeeping, timely processing of invoices, and effective communication with customers and vendors. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Process and record incoming and outgoing payments
- Reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate AR/AP records
- File and organize accounting documents to ensure compliance and easy retrieval
- Enter data into accounting and ERP systems with accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting
- Contact customers to follow up on invoicing and overdue accounts
- Provide general clerical support to the accounting team and CFO as needed
Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate Aptitude In
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Clerical accounting duties including filing, invoicing, and reconciliation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to learn and adapt to accounting or ERP software
- Dependability, attention to detail, and proactive follow-up skills
