Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Clerk I
Location: Charleston, SC
Pay Rate: $26.18/hr, W 2
Summary:
- Duration: 6+ Month Contract
- Work Mode: Onsite, 5 days per week at our Charleston, SC office
- 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping work in an accounting department, including posting data or keeping other records concerning costs of goods or services or the shipment of goods.
- Prepare itemized statements, bills, or invoices and record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
- Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.
- Provide temporary administrative support covering PO processing, phones, project setup, submittals, and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Prior QuickBooks experience is highly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- QuickBooks experience
- General administrative skills
- Procurement experience
