Job Description

Annual Salary Range: $60,494 - $64,915As an Accounting Generalist in Budget and Finance, you’ll provide senior-level ownership of core Accounting workflows that keep Government funds accurate, auditable, and decision-ready. Your work supports strategic impact across Budget planning and financial reporting.Key responsibilities:- Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity; research and resolve variances- Support Budget development, monitoring, and forecast updates- Prepare journal entries, schedules, and recurring Finance reports- Assist with month-end/year-end close and audit documentation- Partner with departments to improve controls, accuracy, and timeliness

Required qualifications/skills:- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial systems/ERPs- Knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and reporting discipline- Clear communicator with a problem-solver mindset and high integrity
