Accounting Intern Summer 2026

Position Summary:

The Accounting Summer Intern will assist the accounting team with daily operations, financial reporting, and project cost tracking. This internship provides exposure to construction accounting practices, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Support monthly financial close and reconciliation activities.
• Help track job costs and review project budgets.
• Organize and maintain financial records and documentation.
• Prepare reports and summaries for internal use.
• Participate in audits and compliance reviews.
• Learn and use accounting software (Vista)
• Collaborate with project managers and field staff on financial matters.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Interest in construction industry and project-based accounting.
