Our client in Hastings, NE is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance, and provide insightful financial reporting that drives business decisions. If you re ready to take ownership of accounting processes in a dynamic organization, this is your opportunity.Position: Accounting ManagerLocation: Hastings, NE Pay: $27.00/hour (range $26 35 based on experience)Schedule: Monday Friday, 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PMWhat You ll Do
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for company leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- CPA or CMA designation
- Experience in manufacturing settings
- Experience with ERP systems
