Accounting Manager
Job Location: Stockton, California
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $70,500-$71,000/year
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm (hours may vary)
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as an Accounting Manager? Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support informed decision making across the organization. This role is responsible for managing day to day accounting functions while partnering with leadership on budgeting, reporting, and financial planning. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional looking to make an impact through both operational excellence and strategic contribution.
The Finance & Accounting Manager plays a key role in maintaining the organization's financial health by ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial management practices. This position combines hands on accounting responsibilities with higher level financial management practices. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Support month end and year end closing processes
- Assist in the development and management of the annual budget
- Monitor expenses, revenues, and financial trends
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial documentation
- Manage cash flow and maintain banking relationships
- Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and organizational initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed
Description of Company:

Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and general accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership and cross functional teams
