Job Description

About the Role

Join the Finance team at a growing healthtech business as Accounting Manager. You will oversee core accounting operations and strengthen financial controls, reporting, and processes across eCommerce, inventory, and healthcare-related activities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the month-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

  • Oversee revenue recognition, inventory, intercompany accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and fixed assets.

  • Review financial statements and internal reporting packages, and analyze balance sheet and P&L fluctuations to provide business insights.

  • Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity.

  • Partner with Supply Chain on inventory controls, reporting, forecasting, cycle counts, and inventory turns.

  • Develop accounting policies and documentation, and implement process improvements and automation.

  • Manage and develop staff accountants, support external audits and public reporting readiness, and collaborate across teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with 5 or more years of accounting experience including public accounting, and 2 to 3 years in an accounting manager role.

  • Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting knowledge; CPA certification is preferred.

  • Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

  • Experience managing complex accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and turning financial analysis into clear business insights.

  • People management experience; background in eCommerce, healthcare, telemedicine, or inventory-based businesses is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is $90,000 to $110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

This is a hybrid role based in San Leandro, California, United States.
