Position

We are looking to extend our team with the opening of an Accounting Manager position. In addition to general accounting duties, this position is responsible for high level accounting functions including: Cash Management, Human Resources/Contract Review, Purchasing, and Reporting & Analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage AP, AR, and general ledger
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, and company specific financial reports
  • Process payroll and support basic HR and benefit administration
  • Cash management and banking activity
  • Prepare sales tax filings, 1099s, and management reports

Must Haves

  • Hands-on accounting experience (AP, AR, GL)
  • Monthly close and payroll experience
  • Strong Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and organizational skills
  • High level of discretion, integrity and attention to detail

Nice to Haves

  • Small business or family-owned company experience
  • ERP/accounting or HR system experience
  • Tax, benefits, or audit exposure
