This role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial information, and support leadership with insights that drive sound business decisions.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general ledger maintenanceManage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reportingPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements and supporting schedulesDevelop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policiesSupport budgeting and forecasting activities and provide variance analysis as neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and supply chain, to ensure accurate financial data flowAssist with external audits, tax preparation, and regulatory complianceIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracySupervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous developmentQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus)5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilityStrong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworksExperience in manufacturing, construction, or related industries preferredExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong communication and leadership abilitiesProficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelInterested in hearing more?
