Clinic Accounting Manager
Healthcare Finance Leadership
Ready to lead, influence, and make an impact across a dynamic healthcare system? We're looking for a Clinic Accounting Manager to drive financial accuracy, performance insights, and operational excellence across our adult hospital clinics.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring net revenue integrity, expense oversight, and financial transparency-while leading a team and partnering with key stakeholders to drive smart financial decisions.
What You'll Own
Financial Operations
- Lead month-end & year-end close processes
- Oversee general ledger, reconciliations & financial reporting
- Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial transactions
- Review and approve accounting activity for accuracy
Specialty Focus (Based on Your Expertise)
Revenue Accounting
- Drive revenue recognition & AR analysis
- Manage payer reconciliations & contractual adjustments
- Support grant-related receivables
Expense Accounting
- Oversee AP, fixed assets & inventory
- Deliver insights that support cost control initiatives
Clinic Accounting
- Partner with clinics on billing interfaces & financial performance
- Track and report on site-level revenue & expenses
Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and analyze financial statements & leadership reports
- Identify trends, variances & opportunities for improvement
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team
- Provide ongoing feedback, mentorship, and support
- Balance priorities and delegate effectively
️ Process Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows & improve efficiency
- Support system enhancements & ERP optimization (Workday a plus!)
- Strengthen internal controls and financial accuracy
Audit & Compliance
- Partner with auditors and support internal & external audits
- Ensure documentation, accuracy, and compliance readiness
What You Bring
Education
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- CPA or Master's (preferred)
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Healthcare or hospital accounting experience strongly preferred
Skills That Set You Apart
- Strong knowledge of GAAP & financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Experience with ERP systems (Workday a plus)
- Analytical, detail-oriented & highly organized
- Strong communicator and collaborative leader
