Accounting Manager

Direct Hire Position Title: Accounting Manager Reports To: Controller Working at Credit UnionQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a credit union or financial institution• 1+ years of supervisory experience managing teams• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial institution accounting, and internal controls• Familiarity with credit union regulations and Call Report preparation preferred• Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting or core processing systems• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills• Credit check requiredPosition Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting operations for the credit union. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting processes.
