Job Description
A small, established business is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Manager / Office Manager to oversee all accounting and administrative functions. This is a hands-on, all-encompassing role for someone who can manage the accounting office from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable handling a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process new and used vehicle sales from start to finish.
Handle trade-ins, dealer trades, wholesale transactions, and related documentation.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Calculate, process, and remit sales taxes.
Reconcile accounts, schedules, and general ledger accounts.
Prepare bank deposits and complete bank reconciliations.
Manage floor plan financing and related reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly documented.
Order office supplies and manage general office needs.
Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
Maintain organized files and ensure all required paperwork is complete.
Oversee daily accounting office operations and provide administrative support as needed.
Handle additional accounting and operational duties as they arise.
