This is an exciting environment for accounting professionals who enjoy driving improvements, influencing business decisions, and thriving through periods of growth and transformation.Role SummaryThe Accounting Manager will play a critical role in overseeing financial reporting, account reconciliations, treasury support, budgeting activities, and operational accounting functions across multiple locations. This position serves as a key business partner to leadership by providing financial insights, ensuring accounting accuracy, and supporting continuous process improvements.The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manufacturing accounting, financial analysis, and balance sheet management while helping strengthen controls, enhance reporting processes, and support organizational growth initiatives. This role offers significant exposure across finance and operations and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change throughout the business.Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate accounting for liabilities and financial exposures Manage bank reconciliations and support treasury and cash management activities across multiple locations Prepare financial reporting packages, aging reports, cash flow analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis for leadership Record and maintain ASC 842 lease accounting entries and related reporting requirements Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify trends and drive operational improvements Analyze inventory, manufacturing costs, and cost of sales components to support profitability and working capital initiatives Assist with audits, tax compliance activities, banking requirements, covenant reporting, and internal control processesKey Requirements 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong experience preparing financial statements and ensuring GAAP compliance, including ASC 842 lease accounting Experience performing bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and month end close activities Background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing operations Experience working with ERP systems such as Infor, Microsoft Navision, or other large enterprise platforms Experience supporting system implementations, process improvements, or organizational change initiatives preferred Strong analytical, communication, and cross functional collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications CPA designation preferred Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred Experience within food manufacturing, consumer products, or related production environments ERP implementation experience Knowledge of treasury operations and working capital management Experience supporting multi location operationsWhy This Opportunity Highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and key business initiatives Opportunity to make an immediate impact in a growing and evolving organization Collaborative and team oriented culture that values new ideas and process improvements Broad responsibilities spanning financial reporting, operations, treasury, and business analysis Strong compensation package including bonus opportunity Stable organization with significant opportunities for professional growthCall to ActionIf you are an experienced accounting professional seeking a high impact role within a dynamic manufacturing environment, apply today through The Intersect Group.
