Interim-to-hire Accounting Manager Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute key components of the month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and flux analyses
- Partner with supply chain, operations, and FP&A to analyze gross margin and production costs
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support external audits and coordinate with auditors to provide requested documentation
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function
- Assist with ERP system enhancements and data integrity initiatives (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA (or active pursuit) strongly preferred
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience; mix of public accounting + industry preferred
- Experience in CPG, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy environments required
- Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
