Accounting Manager

Unity has partnered with a very reputable, well-known real estate services company searching for an Accounting Manager. This role is predominately open due to growth as the largest client is ratcheting up another fund. Selling Points:

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to stay aligned with ongoing fund activity
• Proactively manage client expectations and ensure a high level of service delivery
• Lead and manage engagements with a focus on client needs, staff utilization, and overall engagement efficiency
• Oversee the audit and tax preparation process in coordination with internal teams and external providers
• Review and approve all ongoing communications to clients and their investors
• Support business development efforts, including sourcing new clients and assisting with proposal development
• Mentor, train, and develop junior team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
• CPA preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent professional experience
• Prior private equity or venture capital exposure and knowledge of partnership accounting preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication
