Accounting Process Documentation Specialist (On-Site Consultant)Industry: Real EstateLocation: On-SiteOverview:Our client, a rapidly growing real estate corporation, is seeking an experienced Accounting Process Documentation Specialist for an immediate, on-site consulting engagement. In this role, you will partner closely with the finance leadership team to map out, standardize, and formally document core operational accounting processes across the department.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured discovery interviews with operational accounting staff to evaluate daily workflows, roles, and process handoffs.
- Design and draft comprehensive, step-by-step Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the operational accounting function.
- Proven track record of interviewing stakeholders and translating complex accounting workflows into clean SOPs.
- Demonstrated expertise in step-by-step process mapping and desktop procedure creation within corporate finance.
- Prior experience in the Real Estate sector is preferred.
