We are a company with 13 restaurant locations in the Inland Empire. Corky's Kitchen and Bakery is a family restaurant with made from scratch breakfast, lunch and dinner. All our bakery items are baked in house by our talented bakers. We strive to provide our guest with the best dining experience possible.

Overeasy Inc. is seeking a meticulous and analytical Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The role involves managing our accounting processes with precision to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to relevant regulations. We are looking for candidates who are detail-oriented and have a strong foundation in accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to- accounting responsibilities, including recording transactions and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Conduct regular reconciliation balance sheets, bank accounts, and general ledgers regularly.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and perform variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile sales and deposits, posting in accounting software.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Contribute to improving financial procedures and processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
OKRs and KPIs:
- Ensure all financial reports are prepared and delivered by their deadlines.
- Achieve a 99% accuracy rate in financial reporting.
- Maintain reconciliation errors under 1% per annum.
- Contribution towards achieving department cost-saving targets.
