Based in Frederick, MD | Hiring: Full-time Accounting Specialist
Pay: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm, Monday- Friday

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Our Accounting Specialist keeps our financial records accurate, updated, and compliant with all regulations while providing valuable insights to support management in data-driven decision-making. You'll be working in QuickBooks Online to accurately manage and process accounts receivable and payable, including billing, cash, and collections tracking.
Precision and attention to detail will be crucial as you track upcoming payments, pay invoices on time, provide timely quotes before deadlines, and promptly notify customers of overdue payments. By skillfully overseeing incoming and outgoing payments, you'll keep our business in strong financial standing. You'll also gather and report data for audits and forecasting purposes, helping leaders understand our financial standing and make informed business decisions for the future.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 2 to 4+ years of experience using QuickBooks Online
- 2 to 4+ years of work experience in an accounting, billing, or finance position
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs
Our ideal Accounting Specialist also has a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent amount of work experience), but it's not required for the right person.
