Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Accounting Supervisor III based at our Berea, KY facility.
What You Will Do;
- Lead and oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Monitor and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support compliance initiatives.
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide recommendations and explanations to management.
- Support the development of annual operating plans, forecasts, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Coordinate accounting and reporting activities across multiple locations within the Americas Division.
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while managing workload priorities and performance.
- Champion process improvement efforts that increase efficiency, enhance reporting quality, and ensure compliance with internal control requirements.

What You Will Need - Education;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Master's degree in Accounting (MSA) preferred.
- CPA, CMA, and/or MBA certification preferred.
Skills Experience & Abilities:
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Account reconciliation and month-end close processes
- Knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Leadership, coaching, and employee development
- Process improvement and internal controls expertise
- Financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience supervising or leading accounting professionals preferred.
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements and reports.
- Experience analyzing financial results and communicating findings to management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
- Experience working with confidential financial information.
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, vendors, banks, and customers.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 5-6%).
