Job Title: Accounts Payable Bookkeeper Pay: $20-22/hr Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 4:30 pm Start Date: ASAP Looking for a rewarding opportunity with room for growth? As an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper Assistant, you'll become a key part of a hardworking team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the milling and manufacturing sector. This position offers stability, professional growth, and the chance to develop your accounting and administrative skills in a supportive environment. This role supports daily financial operations while assisting with general office functions, working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate processing of invoices and payments, maintaining organized records, and contributing to a friendly and efficient work environment.What You'll Do As an Accounts Payable Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for:
- Processing accounts payable transactions accurately and on time
- Payroll processing from start to finish
- Managing multi-line phone calls and emails professionally and courteously
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring proper distribution and record keeping
- Supporting office operations by organizing and maintaining procedures
- Providing backup support for the receptionist and other administrative duties as needed
- At least 1 year of Data Entry experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (Enterprise Solutions 24.0 or similar accounting software)
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures
- Ability to type at least 55 words per minute
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude with keen attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of general office equipment
- Self-motivation, organized, and able to work independently
- Fluent English speaking skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
