Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Overview: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining organized records of financial transactions.

Create Your Path: The Work You'll Do:

• Review, verify, and process invoices, statements, purchase orders, receiving paperwork, and check requests prior to payment.
• Prepare disbursements and issue checks in a timely and accurate manner.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, departments, and the Purchasing team.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and accrued receiver balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with general accounting tasks as needed.
• Support payroll processing when requested.
• Aid the casino auditing function as required.

Job Requirements:

• Reflects minimum education, training, certification and experience required in order to meet the expectation of this job.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to two years in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a computerized accounting environment.
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Basic proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
