Summary: Accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, travel & expense reimbursements, and scholarship/award payments in a high-volume deadline-driven environment.. Will set up new vendors and verify vendor information. Training of new College employees in the Emburse Enterprise system, and the answering of questions about normal expense processing and Emburse Enterprise. Position may be required to assist with the annual processing of 1099's, monthly journal entries as assigned along with assisting with reconciliation of specific liability accounts, and other duties as assigned.

This non-exempt position will report to the Accounts Payable Manager in the Division of Finance and Facilities. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote. *This role does require 5 days per week onsite for the first few months to train.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,987-$55,000 (paid hourly and commensurate with related experience)

Required Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or higher is required, an associate's degree is preferred.

• At least 2+ years of accounts payable and expense report processing experience, or 3+ years of similar professional accounting experience is required.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Proficiency in ERP systems (Business Central, Navigator, SAP, Oracle, or Similar) is preferred.

• Strong ability to review invoices and expense reports for accuracy and compliance.

• Customer service experience, attention to detail, team focus, and strong written and oral communication skills are required.

• Ability to analyze discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and escalate concerns as needed.

• Capacity to manage multiple invoices, expense reports, and tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.

• Experience with automated employee expense reimbursement products (Emburse Enterprise, Concur) preferred.
