Responsibilities of Full-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Post incoming payments by check, ACH, wire, or credit card

• Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up on outstanding invoices

• Contact customers regarding past-due accounts and payment arrangements

• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Prepare aging reports and assist with collections effort

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure invoice accuracy

• Support month-end closing tasks related to accounts receivable

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Skills for Full-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping, or accounting support

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software

• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP/accounting systems

• Knowledge of general accounting principles

• Experience with collections and account reconciliation
