Job DetailsJob Details:Are you a financial whiz with a knack for numbers and a passion for precision? We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team on a permanent basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be responsible for managing the invoicing and cash receipts process, ensuring that payments are received and recorded accurately and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in our company's financial operations and contribute to our continued growth and success.Responsibilities:As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your duties will include but are not limited to:1. Managing the processing and collection of accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, and credit notes.2. Resolving billing discrepancies and unapplied cash in a timely and accurate manner.3. Performing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) analysis and taking proactive steps to reduce the DSO.4. Assisting with month-end close processes, including account reconciliation and reporting.5. Setting up new vendors in the system and maintaining accurate vendor information.6. Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer enquiries, and resolving any issues related to accounts receivable.7. Using Excel to maintain financial records, generate reports, and perform data analysis.Qualifications:The successful candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of two years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or equivalent.2. Strong knowledge of DSO, unapplied cash, billing discrepancies, month-end close processes, and vendor set up.3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.4. Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports.5.
