Job Description
ACME Machinist Set Up / Operator- Cleveland, OH #26-00458 Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00/HR Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits Shift: Monday- Thursday 6am- 4:30pm Responsible for the set-up and operation of one or more Multi/Chucker screw machines.Responsibilities:
- Experience with Acme Gridley set up
- Working knowledge of tooling and attachments: Dovetail forms, floating shave, knee tools, knurling, tapping, thread rolling, accelerated reaming, recess and pick off attachments.
- Able to set up to completion from print and layout. Including cams, gears, attachments and tooling to finished part.
- Read blueprints and job routings to determine part specifications and order requirements.
- Set all tooling as required.
- Verify first-piece production dimensions using proper measuring instruments.
- Tear down set-ups after job completion.
- Inspect parts for print requirement compliance.
