Job Description: Thompson Gray is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to provide programmatic support in the areas of acquisition and contract planning, Contract Requirement Package (CRP) Development, and proposal evaluation. Candidate must be willing to learn new things, take on other duties as assigned, and be eager to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to share opinion(s) in a collaborative and constructive manner.Location: Huntsville, ALEmployment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)Work Schedule: Full-time on-site (5 days per week)Telework: May be authorized
Clearance: Must have an active Secret clearance
Occasional travel may be required.This position is contingent upon funding approval
Duties will include:Develop complete Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), acquisition strategies, and market research reports.Support agreement closeout procedures, ensuring all obligations have been fulfilled.Assist with the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs). Assist with the evaluation of proposals and development of Technical Evaluation Reports. Coordinate with technical Points of Contact (POCs) on requirements development, quality assurance, and special provisions.Provide input for DD-254 Contract Security Classification Specifications.Coordinate approvals with internal and external stakeholders.Prepare, organize, and maintain CRP and contract documents.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related fieldA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in federal acquisition, with a strong preference for experience supporting the U.S. ArmyUnderstanding in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative
