Acquisition Specialist

THE POSITION
PACE LLC is currently seeking an Acquisition Specialist for a full-time position. The Acquisition Specialist will provide a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the customer's acquisition activities. This position supports the PACE LLC government contracting client, which is a United States federal agency.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience directly supporting major defense acquisition program(s) or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition subject matter expert/program analyst
- Experience providing strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection, tailoring strategies, and risk mitigation
- Experience navigating complexities of the Defense Acquisition System and providing authoritative advice to senior leadership
- Experience working with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and emerging acquisition reform initiatives
- 5 years' experience in DoD program management, or 5 years' commercial experience in a program integration environment providing strategic level analysis
- Agile acquisition and commercial solutions opening experience a big plus
- Commercial Solutions Opening experience a big plus
- Experience and knowledge of other transaction authority
- Experience preparing detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programs
- Experience reviewing, processing, and formulating general strategy products
CERTIFICATIONS
- DAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management Contracting or equivalent preferred.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years major program experience.
Citizenship & Clearance
- This position would require US Citizenship and a TS clearance or ability to hold a TS clearance.
