ActioNet is seeking an Enterprise Systems Administrator to provide operational and sustainment support for Windows and Linux systems in a classified environment. This role focuses on day-to-day system operations, availability, security compliance, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure supporting mission systems. Responsibilities include system installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and recovery while ensuring compliance with DoD and Intelligence Community security standards. Strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and customer engagement are essential. The position requires onsite support 90% of the time, limited travel, U.S. citizenship, and an active or obtainable TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph. (Camp Smith)
Salary $90,000-150,000
Essential Functions / Job Duties
- Work directly with customers in a technical operations role
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems
- Operate and maintain server hardware, storage, and network-connected systems
- Perform routine system monitoring, patching, backups, and restorations
- Support disaster recovery and system recovery operations
- Monitor and respond to system and security events
- Ensure systems adhere to STIGs, RMF, and IC security requirements
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication services
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and maintenance activities
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise systems in classified or regulated environments
- Strong Windows and Linux system administration experience
- Experience with virtualization platforms and enterprise infrastructure
- Knowledge of system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
- Familiarity with ACAS, SCAP, and system auditing tools
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
