The Position: ECF Activities Coordinator

Employment Status: Full Time

Hours per two-week pay-period: 80

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop, plan, and coordinate activities, outings, and events related to residents’ interests that meet the spiritual, recreational, intellectual, work, and service needs of residents living in the skilled nursing facility.
  • Implement, assess, organize, oversee, and evaluate all activities, outings, and events within the department in accordance with existing federal, state, and local standards. Ensures quarterly assessments and resident participation levels are up to date.
  • Ensure smooth operations of department with oversight of Activities Aides and the Volunteer program.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Long term or acute care experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Satisfactory character references. Not on any state Abuse Registries.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Basic CPR and Emergency techniques for choking.
  • Montana Driver’s License

Position Summary:

Sidney Health Center is seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our I CARE team in the Extended Care Activities department setting. Essential duties of the position include developing, planning, and organizing all activities for department that align with residents’ interests and likes.
