Investors Heritage, headquartered in Frankfort, Kentucky is the largest national life insurance company domiciled in Kentucky. We have been nationally recognized as one of the fastest growing life insurance companies in the United States and are looking for high-quality candidates to join our team to help support this growth.

We are seeking actuarial interns to apply statistical modeling and financial analysis to support our product development, pricing, risk management, and modeling initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills, a passion for continuous learning, and a collaborative mindset.

This 8–10 week internship provides hands-on experience in actuarial work, and top-performing interns may receive part-time and full-time offers upon completion.

Key Responsibilities

· Utilize analytical and technical skills to contribute to projects that drive company growth.

· Gain a deep understanding of the company's life and annuity products and explore ways to enhance them.

· Learn and engage with the actuarial team's processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.

· Develop data visualization tools to simplify complex information for better decision-making.

· Work with the company's modeling software to create financial projections that support strategic planning

Qualifications

· Rising Juniors and Seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science with a minimum 3.2 GPA (rising sophomores will also be considered).

· Preference for candidates who have passed at least one actuarial exam.

· Proficiency in Excel and VBA is required.

· Experience with R and/or Python and AI tools is a plus.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
