About the Role

In this vital role, you will be responsible for representing ANI's PCG (Purified Cortrophin Gel) for Acute Gouty Arthritis to Primary Care, Family Practice, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals. • Build and execute territory-specific plans to drive physician awareness, patient identification, and market growth.
  • Educate providers and staff on treatment access, insurance coverage, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Market Access, Patient Support Services, and Medical Affairs to ensure seamless patient onboarding and therapy initiation.
  • Maintain detailed communication logs and follow-up documentation to support continuity of care.
  • Cold call and engage new accounts across Primary Care, Podiatry, and Orthopedics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure logistical readiness and patient support.
  • Contribute to building and scaling a new commercial footprint within an expanding Acute Care business.
  • Demonstrate compliance and integrity in all interactions.

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong understanding of patient access, prior authorizations, and appeals.
  • Familiarity with Gout flares, their clinical presentation, and treatment pathways.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex insurance and documentation requirements.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience coordinating care across multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with specialty distribution and patient support services is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; RN or clinical background a plus but not required for candidates with strong access-driven sales experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical device sales.
  • Experience working with Primary Care, Podiatry, or Orthopedic practices is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel overnight (40-60%) depending on territory needs.
  • Valid driver's license required.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$170,000; the exact salary depends on various factors such as experience, skills, education, location, competencies and industry-specific knowledge. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a competitive short term and long term incentive program based on performance and company results.
