JobShift:

The College of Education is seeking one or more qualified individuals to serve as online Adjunct Faculty members for the graduate programs in education. The chosen individuals will teach a variety of education courses and complete assessment documents as directed by the Graduate Programs Director. Appointments are offered on a per course basis. Continued contracts are contingent upon department needs. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered Liberal Arts education, Christian service, the mission of Faulkner University, and student support. Initial contract offerings may begin as early as Fall, 2026.

Qualifications:

Doctorate degree (Ed.D or Ph.D) in Education or a related degree with 18 graduate hours in Education required
Teaching experience at the college level or demonstrated teaching ability
Experience in using LMS (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.)
Active member of the church of Christ preferred
