Job Description

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach Online LIVE Accounting courses beginning in the fall, 2026 term.

Fall Courses:

ACC 350 Federal Taxation of Individuals- 3 semester credits

ACC 473 Advanced Financial Reporting- 3 semester credit

Location and Modality

Classes are Online LIVE and require a weekly live class from 6:00-9:15 p.m. as well as online, asynchronous work.

12-Week Term Dates: August 24 - November 19

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or closely related field and relevant professional experience. Some teaching experience is preferred but not required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Teach undergraduate courses in accounting.
Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
Use university technology as directed.
