Adjunct Professor of Marketing (In Person)
Position Purpose
The Labry School of Business seeks a well-qualified adjunct professor to teach the Principles of Marketing course for the Fall 2026 semester at our Lebanon, TN campus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong industry knowledge and understanding of current trends in marketing
- Ability to teach face-to-face classes, Monday - Thursday during normal business
- Evidence of past teaching excellence and relevant professional experience
Responsibilities
- Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses,
- Providing students with a comprehensive understanding of marketing,
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on marketing,
- Design and implement relevant coursework, assignments, and assessments,
- Foster a dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation, and
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate real-world examples into the classroom experience
Education
Minimum of a Master's degree in Marketing, or a Master's degree in Business with 18 graduate hours in Marketing, or a Master's degree in Business, Public Relations, or Communications, and 3+ years of professional experience in marketing.
A minimum of five years of practical experience in the field of marketing
