Job Description

Job Title:  Adjunct Teaching- Design- Graphic Design (DESGD 245) (Evening School)

Posting End Date: March 1, 2026

Position Start Date: April 27, 2026

Required Degree: BFA required; MFA in Graphic Design preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Experience: Experience with communication with college-level students and collaboration with colleagues in a collegial manner. Teaching technical concepts requires an efficient thinker with a unique and enthusiastic approach to helping students.

Duties/Expectations: Teach undergraduate course, DESGD 245- Design 2, on a part-time basis for the graphic design area in the Department of Design using department-approved curriculum. This Course could include Typography, Beginning/Intermediate/Advanced Computer Applications, Letterpress, Poster Design, Corporate Identity Design, etc. The position will require lecturing, creating assignments, grading, critiques, and communicating/responding to student emails. Part-time faculty are not required to hold office hours, attend staff meetings, serve on committees, or mentor students.
