Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMPay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Position Summary:We are seeking a professional and confident Administrative Assistant to support daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with truck drivers in a firm but respectful manner, and professionalism when interacting with customers regarding delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with truck drivers to coordinate schedules and ensure timely operations
- Provide clear, direct, and professional instructions to drivers as needed
- Assist customers with delivery inquiries, updates, and scheduling
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phones
- Support office operations and assist team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be firm, direct, and professional when needed
- Customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer and office skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
