Admin Computer Support Specialist

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Computer Support Specialist to work at a facility in New York, NY. These are registry positions with our company.Pay Rate: $22 / hourShift details:

• M-F 37.5 hrs per week, 9am-5pm

1. Minimum Candidate Qualifications:The candidate must have a minimum of:a. Two years of experience in Information Technology and Customer Serviceb. Proof of eligibility to work in NYS.c. A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, management systems, information technology, orcybersecurity.2. Job Description and Required Services:Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:• Providing technical assistance to users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.• Actively monitoring and working on tickets submitted in the JIRA ticketing system.• Installing, setting up, and configuring new hardware, software, and peripherals.• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.• Documenting technical problems, resolutions, and user guides for future reference.• Other duties as assigned.In addition, the candidate must possess the following abilities:• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networks.• Problem-Solving: Good analytical and logical reasoning skills to identify root causes of problems.• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical users.• Customer Service: Patience, empathy, and a focus on customer satisfaction.• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, prioritize requests, and maintain detailed records.• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Notes:*This is a full time in-person position.*The Department does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by mass transit.3.
