Job Description

Help conduct the smooth operation & growth of an established independent financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. This role provides support by assisting in daily business operations, maintaining client management system (CRM), provide client relationship support and plan client events. The role will also perform other practice management tasks relating to client service as needed.

Areas Of Responsibility:

  • Prepare for client meetings by pulling necessary reports to ensure the advisor has all items needed.

  • Provide follow-up documentation and responses to clients and advisors.

  • Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts

  • Call clients or prospects to set up meetings or appointments

  • Coordinate client appreciation events and prospect seminars

Please note- You MUST be local to Wheeling, WV. This is NOT a virtual position; you are required to come into the office.

Traits of a Successful Administrative Assistant:

  • 3 years' administrative assistant experience, preferably within the financial service industry

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to take the initiative, when necessary, have a proactive nature with the ability to operate with minimal supervision

  • Effective communication with clients

  • Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow

  • Effective and efficient time management

  • Polite and clear phone manner
