Job Description

Friends University is seeking to fill the Administrative Assistant for the department of Residence Life position in Wichita Kansas. The Administrative Assistant will provide program support and clerical assistance to the Director of Residence Life & Conduct, Residence Life staff, Resident Assistants, students who live on campus, and others in the Friends community.

  • Provide administrative leadership and organization to large departmental projects by creating/maintaining filing system, preparing large communications to student and general campus community, data entry, and information tracking.
  • Track daily housing applicant activity and oversee housing and meal plan charges and deposits
  • Participate in resident assistant development and help oversee residence hall move-in days
  • Assist on-campus residents with residential policies and pertinent information, requests for dorm maintenance, and meeting with Res Life staff
  • Updates departmental website and assists with social media platforms.

Work hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday
