About the Role:

The Learning Experience #253 in Centereach, NY is looking for a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key support role in a dynamic, people-focused environment where your contributions truly make a difference every day.

Responsibilities:

• Manage front desk operations including greeting visitors and answering incoming calls
• Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation
• Support staff and management with scheduling, correspondence, and administrative tasks
• Process and track enrollment paperwork and student records
• Coordinate communication between parents, staff, and leadership
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate databases
• Order and manage office supplies and inventory

Requirements:

• Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus

Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
