Job Description
- Maintain the general ledger, perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, and manage all accounting functions exclusively using QuickBooks Desktop.
- Process vendor invoices, manage outgoing payments, generate customer billing, and monitor aging reports to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Utilize the full Google Workspace suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Sheets) to manage office communications, organize digital financial records, and collaborate on shared projects in real-time.
- Answer phones, manage digital and physical filing systems, and assist with general office correspondence and scheduling.
- Assist with payroll processing and use Google Sheets to create supplemental tracking logs, financial dashboards, or custom reports as needed by management.
- At least 2–3 years of proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role.
- Must have significant, professional experience with the Desktop version (Online-only experience is not sufficient).
- High proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Drive (folder organization), and Gmail is required.
- Professional verbal and written skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal leadership.
- A high level of accuracy in data entry and a strong ability to spot and resolve financial discrepancies.
