Job Overview:
LPL Financial is seeking an experienced Advisor Lifecycle Management Lead to own end-to-end advisor lifecycle data, process, and capability strategy across the firm. This role will drive enterprise-level data productization, canonical advisor models, migration readiness, and cross-functional remediation initiatives to improve advisor experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory resilience.
This role carries enterprise-wide accountability for advisor lifecycle data and processes across multiple Systems of Record (Accounts, Positions, Clients, Participants, Party, Securities, Pricing, etc.). It requires deep Wealth Management domain expertise, technical fluency in canonical data modeling and migrations, and the ability to lead high-stakes, cross functional programs (M&A conversions, platform migrations, canonical model rollout) that materially affect advisor productivity, revenue, and regulatory posture.
Responsibilities:
Own the advisor lifecycle from a data and process lens - define the canonical advisor model, authoritative sources, and the Systems of Record (SoR) topology required to support advisor onboarding, servicing, supervision, and offboarding.
Lead enterprise analysis of end-to-end advisor data & process flows across SoRs (origination → consumption), surface gaps, and prioritize remediation with measurable impact.
Drive domain-driven design and product thinking for advisor capabilities: translate business capability into domain models, data products, contracts, SLOs, and runbooks.
Sponsor and coordinate advisor lifecycle hydration sprints, migration and conversion programs (including M&A integrations), mock conversions, and cutover rehearsals - ensure data readiness for production handoff.
Define, operationalize, and enforce readiness criteria for Delivery Office stage-gates (G0-G5) for advisor lifecycle initiatives, providing required data evidence at each gate.
Develop adoption & migration playbooks and partner with VP Data Distribution, Technology, and consumer product owners to decommission legacy feeds and onboard consumers to strategic SORs.
Build and run governance artifacts and executive reporting (scorecards) showing hydration %, data quality SLO attainment, adoption %, readiness metrics, and risk heatmaps.
Partner with Data Governance, AI Business Solutions, Legal/Compliance, Finance, and BU spokes to ensure solutions are auditable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise strategy.
Coach and mentor DPOs, Capability Leads, and domain teams, and lead cross-functional working groups (Advisor Lifecycle Forum, Migration Steering Committee).
What are we looking for? We're looking for strong collaborators who deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. Our ideal candidates pursue greatness, act with integrity, and are driven to help our clients succeed. We value those who embrace creativity, continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture where we win together and create and share joy in our work.
Requirements:
12+ years experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or Capital Markets with deep exposure to advisor lifecycle operations.
7+ years experience leading cross-SoR data initiatives, large migrations, or enterprise data product programs.

Core Competencies:
Deep Wealth Management domain knowledge: advisor lifecycle, accounts/positions/transactions models, advisor compensation and supervision implications.
Data product and engineering knowledge: canonical/semantic modeling, data contracts, lineage, reconciliation, metadata management, and modern data platforms.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FINRA/SEC) and privacy considerations affecting advisor data.
Demonstrated experience with large-scale migrations, M&A conversions, or platform consolidations.
Proven experience working across multiple SoRs and data domains
Experience leading or supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives
Strong background in data, architecture, or product-centric roles
Proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholder networks, escalate appropriately, and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments.
