Location: Des Peres, MO 63131Schedule: Monday- Friday 3:30pm-7:00pmPay: $17.00/hourStart Date: ASAPAbout the Family: Amazing Des Peres Family seeks attentive and patient after school sitter for three children Monday-Friday 3:30pm-7:00pm. Ages of children are 9, 11, 13. All children require a structured afternoon while one has special needs and requires constant attention. Sitter would need to transfer this child to/from wheelchair to change incontinent briefs. Family would prefer someone experienced with special needs or open to learning. Qualities a sitter should have for this family are being consistent, kind and having patience as well as being motivated and able to stay on schedule. About the Role:Direct Care- Engaging with children and constant supervision of child with special needs, age appropriate games and playing; incontinent brief changes for one child with special needs Safety- Ensure the safety and well-being of children in your careMeal Prep- Put together snacks for children after school Light Clean-up- Restore the kitchen and play areas after food and fun (with age-appropriate assistance from the kids)Depth- Get to know a family and develop a relationship with the kids and parents over timeQualifications/Requirements: Must be 18 years or older.Must have a valid drivers license with regular access to a vehicle and ability to transport children in said vehicle as needed. Must consent to a background screening. About Jovie:Jovie is a community and purpose-driven organization that provides our caregivers with training, resources and support to help them develop their childcare skills and confidence on the job.
