- Lead after-school sports and enrichment programs
- Follow strict guidelines given by the school
- Teach age-appropriate sports skills and activities
- Create a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for students
- Promote teamwork, leadership, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Manage groups of students while maintaining safety and engagement
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and program leadership
- Set up and break down sports equipment
- Serve as a positive role model for students
- Follow all program policies and safety procedures
- Attend monthly site-based team meetings as required by the District
- Basketball
- Soccer
- Flag Football
- Volleyball
- Baseball / T-Ball
- Multi-Sport Programs
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4-6 years Coaching, teaching, childcare, recreation, or youth development experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable leading groups of children in an active environment
- Ability to lift and move sports equipment up to 25 pounds
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and Live Scan clearance
- Mandated Reporter Training
- TB Clearance
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Work with one of the most recognized youth sports organizations in the country
- Make a positive impact in the lives of children
- Develop leadership and coaching skills
- Build relationships with local schools and communities
- Be part of a professional, supportive, and positive team culture
- Help children develop confidence, teamwork, and life skills through sports
- Partner directly with school administrators and district leadership
