Afternoon Preschool Teacher (Part-Time, EEC Certified)

Location: The Learning Experience- Dedham, MA

Schedule: Part-Time | 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Pay: $22-$23 per hour

Position Overview

The Learning Experience- Dedham is seeking an EEC-certified Afternoon Preschool Teacher to support our classrooms during the late-day program. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who enjoys guiding preschool-aged children through structured transitions, enrichment activities, and end-of-day routines.

Responsibilities

Support preschool classrooms during afternoon learning and transitions
Implement engaging activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
Guide children through centers, dismissal routines, and end-of-day activities
Communicate positively with families during pickup
Partner with teaching teams to maintain classroom consistency and quality
Ensure compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing standards

Qualifications

Massachusetts EEC certification (Infant/Toddler and Preschool qualified) required
Experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred
Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
Reliable and comfortable supporting afternoon classroom transitions
